Crews continue to work around the clock as quickly and safely as possible to restore customers affected by the severe weather that passed through our service territory. Due to the extent of damage caused by the severe weather, we anticipate the majority of those customers still without power to be restored by late in the day on Sunday July 8, 2012 and the remainder on Monday July 9, 2012. To view a listing of restoral times by county, please click on the red Additional Outage Information bar above. If you have not yet reported your service as being out, please use the report an outage link or call 1-888-544-4877. If you are experiencing a life threatening emergency, please call 911. Remember to treat all downed wires as live and dangerous.

Severe storms on Friday, June 29, and another storm on Sunday, caused widespread power outages in our West VIrginia and Maryland service areas. Our crews continue working 16-hour shifts, around the clock, to restore power.
The majority of affected Mon Power customers are expected to be restored by late Sunday evening.  However, because of the severe damage and accessibility challenges in many remote locations, some customers will not be fully restored until early next week.

Thanks for posting the information which is straight from the source.

And thinking of those who have suffered losses and for those still without services. Pritt Times had it all wrong..printed what the sheriff's deputies were espousing around the county.

Again, thanks!

Could you not just remove the comment and move on instead of letting more and more ribald language to occur? Come on folks stop the feuding and focus on the important - remove the comments and lock this thread. Stop throwing fuel on the fire. And, that is the reason folks do not take this site seriously, it is a constant feud even in times of diaster, nobody seems to want to lay down their differences and work for the common good. Sad, very sad and really, really tried of the feuding.
